On 25th jan 2019 Nepal played 1st ODI vs UAE of the series. Nepal team all out in 113 and people assuming that rest of the matches even be tough. But in the end of tour Nepal has created history in every department by the time series passed.
Nepal won both format ODI & T20 by 2-1 & 2-1 respectively. In almost every match there was a history of Nepal cricket team and its so quickly happen in single series.
Below are the achievement of Nepal cricket team in whole series.
ODI - from 25th Jan to 28th Jan
- Youngest Cricket in all format - Rohit Paudel.
Rohit Paudel become youngest cricket to hit 50 and more run in every format of cricket. previous record is hold by Great Batsman Sachin Tendulkar of India till 30 years which Rohit has broke in this Series. Rohit score 55 runs in 58 ball with 7 fours and help team score brought to 242 after top order collaps.
- 1st Five wicket haul for Nepal in ODI - Sompal Kami
Sompal Kami become the 1st Nepali cricket to bang 5 wicket in any international cricket format as well in ODI. in second ODI Sompal fiery spell of 6.3-1-33-5 make UAE batsman to surrender in 97 run. other hand Sandeep Lamichane also made trouble to UAE by 4/24.
- First Century for Nepal and Captain Paras Khadka
3rd ODI after UAE 254 target and top batsman ordinary contribution Captain paras Khadka captain inning finished the job to chase. Captain Paras Khadka scored 115 in 109 balls with 15 fours and 1 six. By this century Paras become 1st Nepali cricketer to hit Century inn ODI even any format of International level.
- First Ever Bilateral Series win for Nepal
ODI 2-1 and T20 2-1 is the series win for Nepal. Its the first ever Win for Nepal in Both format. Before UAE series Nepal started ODI career by playing bilateral series with Netherland and successful to tie in 1-1. after that series Nepal succeed to bring title home from UAE. In ODI Nepal Played 2 bilateral series and never lost single.
- Paras Khadka 1st Player of the series title.
In 3rd ODI paras got his 1st player of the series in ODI. paras scored 156 runs including hundred also took 4 wickets.
- Youngest cricketer to hit T20 50 - Sudeep Jora
After Rohit Paudel Sudeep Jora become the youngest cricketer to hit 5 in T20 International. He achieved this record in 1st T20 Vs UAE.
- Entry into ICC cricket ranking
Nepal got ICC international ranking status after ODI series Vs UAE. Nepal is now on 15th spot with 152 points. England is on 1st rank with 6918 points.
So its been a great series for Nepal and Nepalis to return with both title and lots of confidence.
