Sehwag initially started a middle-order batsman who came into the side on the back of his all-round skills went on to become one of the greatest Test openers that the world has ever seen.

It all changed during India’s 2002 tour of England when Sourav Ganguly decided to push the Delhi batsman to the top of the order. And, the rest as they are history. Sehwag amassed 7518 runs in ODIs and 8586 runs in Tests respectively as an opener.

In the last decade, we witnessed that Rohit Sharma's career took off as his game reached another level after he started opening for India in the limited-overs formats.

The turn of events took place at the 2013 Champions Trophy when MS Dhoni came to him on the night before the first game and asked him to open the innings. The right-handed batsman ended up accepting the offer instantly.

Legendary Bowler miss leave impact on World Cricket - Amit Mishra

India were always a land of specialized spinners. Even a batsman can bowl enough to contribute as much as can 5th bowler contributed. May be this is the major reason for Amit Mishra and few other fine spinners wont able to get 100% chance to impact world of cricket. Here we talk about the fine wrist spinner who has art of spin the bowl magic delivery which still world missed to watch.
Amit Mishra always be Unlucky for some reason of long duration of service by the regular front line bowlers and the quality of batsman who can bowl too. Indian have always be using strategies of 4 bowler and 7 batsman combination. there will be always 1 or 2 batsman who can bowl enough to sfill place of 5th bowler for adding benefit of extra batsman. Player like Sachin, Sehwag, Youvraj, Ganguly were bowling 10 to 12 over together.

You can see all about Amit Mishra on WiKi to know more about his Journey. Here we summaries and drag it out all the major point to keep him out of Team time by time.

Debut to 2009 - Mishra did his Test Debut against Australia in the Second Test at Mohali (PCA stadium) due to leg spinner Anil Kumble was injured. Mishra took 5 for 71 runs in first innings and India won the match. after that Kumble took retire and Mishra become 2nd option for spin department. Mishra was in out in team during 2008 to 2011.

From 2009 to 2011 - Dhoni took captaincy from Anil Kumble. Dhoni always has best choice of orthodox left hand spinners which benefited team many of the occasion. As Harbhajan Singh was the experience and front line spinner  Pragyan Ojha become the next best choice as orthodox left hander spinner for team. even during 2009 India dint play much of the cricket in Indian soil where Mishra could get chance.

From 2011 to 2013 - After debut of Ravichandran Ashwin and bad patch of Harbhajan Singh next best choice for India was Ashwin and Ojha for test and Slowly Jadeja become the most suitable for One Dayer. During this period Dhoni used both right and left-hander very well and give many victory to team. But in this time Mishra miss to impress much for make suitable position in team combination.

2014 to 2017 - During this period Ashwin and Jaeja made maximum impact in one day. Even this period Ravindra Jadeja become full member. Jadeja carry the benefit of batting in Tale ender which make even Pragym Ojha to keep seat on bench. Due to impact of growing age and demand of young player Mishra slowly missed the probably 11 many of the occasion.

2017 to present -Now in present due to numbers of choice now the competition is on pick. Player like Chahal, Kuldeep, Sunder and duo Ashwin & Jadeja, Amit Mishra have tough to impress as having challenge of growing age and Deeping fitness.

Amit Mishra is now 35 and have couple of years to comeback in Indian team. If he were playing for other country, then now might be the legend now days.

So overall below are the could be main reason for not getting noticed by Indian team -

 - Impact of Orthodox Bowler in Indian Cricket which demand righ hand and left hand combination.
- Log tenure on front line bowler like Harbhajan Singh and Ravichandran Ashwin.
- Lots of Choice in Parttime Bowlers for One Day like Sachin, Sehwag, Youvraj, Gangully, Raina etc.
- Bowling combination for Oversea. 3 medium pacers and 1 front line spinner or Bowling all rounder like Jadeja.
- Bunch of Bench Strength of Young Spinner in team.

Ravindra Singh
