1. Shahd Afridi has 7360 runs in 350+ ODI with 6 Hundred and 35 Fifties. But he has not played 100 balls in an innings yet. His highest is 94 ball when he scored 124.

2  On 3rd Sept 2013, Boyd Rankin, playing for England, dismissed Ed Joyce of Ireland. In the 2007 World Cup Rankin - then playing for Ireland - dismissed Joyce who was then playing for England.

3 Jim Laker took 10 wicket haul in an innings, twice. 10-53 and 10-88, both against Australia. The later one was taken while he was playing for Surrey in a first class match which was less known.

Richard Stokes is the only witness who saw Jim laker and Anil Kumble Taking 10 Wicket Haul both time. Richard Stokes  was  a 10-year-old boy when he saw  Jim Laker taking all 10 wickets in the 1956 Old Trafford Test against Australia. Forty-three years later he was in India watching the India vs Pakistan Test. In this match Anil Kumble took all the 10 wickets in an innings. These were the only two Tests Stokes has watched in his life

4 One of the most astonishing bowling analyses on record was returned by R.G. Nadkarni in the India v. England Test at Madras in 1964. It read 31-27-5-0 and, according to reports, English batsmen said he was 'unhittable'.

5. There was an Australian cricketer in 1870's named George Bailey, who is Great-great-grandfather of Australian ODI skipper George Bailey.

6. Mahela Jayawardene has 16 ODI tons for Sri Lanka. Out of these 16 occasions, Sri Lanka won match 15 time where as lost only once and that's World Cup 2011 final.

7 Sachin Tendulkar is the only batsman to involve in two 10,000+ runs aggregate partnerships in international cricket.

Sachin - Ganguly scored 12400 runs @51.45 average, including 38 century partnerships.

Sachin - Dravid scored 11037 runs @47.98 average, including 31 century partnerships.

8 Gordon Greenidge is the only cricketer to remain retired not out in International Cricket. In 1983 Barbados Test against India , He retired out on 154 to rush home to visit his ailing daughter. Two days later his daughter died. It was decided that he should be made retired not out. Only instance in International Cricket.

9 Chaminda Vaas has dismissed both Herschelle Gibbs and Chris Gayle for ducks 7 times in International cricket.
(No other bowler has dismissed a single batsman for more ducks in International Cricket)

Gibbs's average against Vaas is 2.33 and that of Gayle is 6.50

10 Hashim Amla does not wear a Castle logo on his cricket shirt, said that he did not pocket a cent from his match fee. Promoting beer & liquor is against the teaching of Islam and as such Amla became the first player to be the exception. who was granted permission by South African Breweries and Cricket South Africa not to wear the Castle logos on his clothing?
