This time, only two of the 10 teams playing in the World Cup are the oldest ones. Actually, this time there are only two players who were seen playing in the 2003 World Cup and now they will be seen playing in the 2019 World Cup.
Those two players are West Indian off-spinner opening batsman Chris Gayle and current Bangladeshi team captain Mashrafe Mortaza.
These two players will also play this time with the intention of winning the World Cup for their teams. It is noteworthy that the performance of Bangladesh and West Indies teams in the World Cup played in 2003 was disappointing and both teams missed out on reaching the Super-6 stage.

At that time these two players were part of their own teams. However, there has been a lot of change in the West Indies and Bangladesh teams since then. There are many young players in both teams who have awakened to fight in the team.

This World Cup is going to be Chris Gayle's last World Cup, as Gayle has already announced that this World Cup is going to be his last international tournament. On the other hand, on the other hand, it may also be that Bangladeshi captain Murtaza also said goodbye to cricket after this World Cup.

In such a situation, both of these senior players would not want to miss any chance to make their mark in this World Cup.
