Smith has more then 60 average in test cricket which he has built before getting suspended. he has unique record of scoring consistent 50+ runs in 2015 world cup 5 time in row.
IPL Journey
Steven Smith Played first match in IPL in 2012 when Pune warriors bought him for $60000 from Kochi Taskar. Smith wont able to play 2010 and 2011 due to certain issue but in 2012 IPl he started his IPL career with player of the match vs Mumbai Indians.
In 2014 Rajasthan royal bought him and till mid of 2015 he name as captain of RR. In this series he scored his maiden IPl fift and hit 2 fifty in series.
IPL 2016 Onward and Captaincy :-
Next season 2016 new franchise Pune Warriors Supergaint bought him for Same price under MS Dhoni captaincy where team finished last position in season. Smith hit his maiden hundred in this season 101 in 54 ball against Gujarat Lions. In 2017 RPS axed Dhoni from Captaincy and given to Smith. Smith took team to till 1st Qualifier play off and being top scorer for team with 472 in 15 innings.
