There are two position in batting order which India struggling and not yet claimed 100% fulfillment fro last 2-3 years. 1st the can we play Dhoni at 4 and 2nd what will be the batting template in middle order?
despite fro this question if we can assure Kedar should play every match in no 6th position then only 1 position selectors have to work and that is 4th.
Why should Kedar To be play all match ?
Very first,Intelligent Batsman -
Kedar know his name and know how to bat effortless. Every batsman has his own batting style and techniques of scoring runs. Kedar is not explosive batsman as compare to Hardik or Dhoni. But he know how to steal run and find the gap. He is quick enough between wicket. So he aware to score with less effort and by saving energy to till last ball of match. If you see his strike rate is more then 100 even he is not big hitter of ball but equally effective to score run a ball.
Trustful and confidence :-
In past we have seen Kedar Jadhav inning and in IPL how he close the match and bring win to team single handed in couple of match. at no 6 is the best position for him and no one find best in case of him.
Extra bowling option in middle overs :-
Most surprise, the bowling. He bowl better then Shankar who is the specialist ll rounder. Kedar Economic rate is 4.94 which is below 5. He bowl in 32 inning and took 26 wicket. amazing for a part time bowler. His strike rate is 38 which is better the a regular bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar 43.20.His bowling Average even better the Bhuvneshwar kumar and Hardik Pandya. If Hardik Pandya play at no 7 in team, Then India get place for one more extra batsman in team.
Combination with Dhoni :
Kedar playing in Chennai super king and even might have play in Pune (IPL). both have enough experience of numbers of match in same team, so both have good understanding on the wicket.
Better Option then DK :-
No doute Dinesh Karthik is even equal effective and shown in past couple of yea as well. But Dinesh Karthik fail to score big inning and close the match specially in ODI. Where he only can bat and field where, Kedar Bat till end, Field equally and specially can bowl 6-7 over regularly even till 10 overs.
No replacement option : -
Rayudu has replacement option with DK, KL Rahul, Rahane but in case of Kedar all round performance non of above batsman is compete with him. Because in case of batting all are equally similar effective but the Kedar unique is bowling option.
Kedar play roll of Extra All rounder as well :-
Basically Kedar play roll of Extra all rounder in team with Jadeja, Shankar or Hardik. If any of the all rounder wont able to complete his all 10 overs then Kedar able to finish remaining over. with having him team ensure at least 10 over can be complete by Both.
